The award is named for Yves Congar, O. P. who is saluted as one of the major theologians of the 20th century. His contributions to the Second Vatican Council make him a special patron of CPPCD. The award is presented annually to a member of CPPCD whose ministry serves as a firm foundation for building up the people of God after the manner of Cardinal Congar.
In a letter notifying her of her award, CCPCD said “The member who nominated you for this award wrote of you as one of the ‘great wisdom figures of our ministry’ and a ‘powerful mirror of discipleship.’ We are thrilled to recognize your creativity and use of the arts to enhance planning practices and leadership development throughout your service in the Diocese of Madison, Archdiocese of Milwaukee, and now with The Reid Group.”
Congratulations, Maureen, on such a prestigious and well-deserved award!
